THE BOX - Behind The Scenes - below are some Behind The Scenes pics from our production of The Box, featuring Lou's House, which was actually shot at my house. That sure was convenient! In actuality, about 70% of the film was shot at my house, but because of sporadic uses of a vareity of other locations, it seems like the film is much "bigger" than it actually is.

Gabriel claps the slate as DC and Samantha prepare in the bathroom  In order to get a low dolly shot, Pete ended up using what we called the Hessmit Dolly, which is an oven mitt (in this take it was a face cloth) on top of a hess truck. We used this dolly setup about 10 times during the shoot.  DC and Samantha wait patiently for the camera to roll.  Setup for when DC tries to open The Box for the first time.
